The 2.5D side-scrolling action-adventure platform game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Sargon, the protagonist of the game, may move between platforms via jumping, sliding, and airdashing. He defeats opponents by using a pair of knives. Sargon may unleash a unique ability when his Athra's Glow is completely charged, which is facilitated by well-timed parries. He may employ his several time-based abilities for both platforming and fighting. Sargon may run ahead in time with Rush of the Simurgh, and he can create a "shadow marker"—a temporary checkpoint that players can quickly return to—with Shadow of the Simurgh. Additionally, Sargon has access to talismans that change his powers.
